Transferred mission authority

"The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and 10th Mountain Division formally transferred mission authority in a ceremony at the Romanian National Defense University April 5, 2023.

 

Though the 101st has been relentless in its mission to bolster Europe's eastern flank and we always gets it done, but we know the 10th Mountain Division team will #ClimbToGlory and continue to assure our NATO Aliies and partners.

 

During the #101st was recognized for their mission success while being deployed to NATO’s eastern flank for the last nine months.

 

However, the Screaming Eagle patch will remain in Europe, while the 1st Brigade Combat Team "Bastogne" has recently assumed their mission from 2nd Brigade Combat Team "STRIKE" in a ceremony last week.

 

We are very proud with the achievements and challenges we were able to overcome during this rotation.
